If we can change the way in which we are perceived, we can bring about change in the way in which girls are perceived in future generations.
How many changes have there been over the last 50 years? Not enough!
Women are still down-trodden in many countries and have no rights. Women in western society, whose female relatives may well have fought for the vote, are almost happy to relinquish their power and often can’t be bothered to make an effort to vote.
And until we step into our own power as women of a certain age, prepared to be agents of change, prepared to leave a legacy, and prepared adopt a “whatever it takes” attitude, the status quo will remain as it is … heavily loaded in favour of the boys.
Time to take a look at ourselves …
